New Call for applications within the Erasmus Mundus project “gSmart - Spatial ICT Infrastructures for Smart Places” is open

   The new call for applications within the Erasmus Mundus project “gSmart - Spatial ICT Infrastructures for Smart Places” has been opened on December 15, 2013 and is aiming at those students and faculty of Central Asian Universities, who are working (or planning to work) with spatial methods like GIS or Remote Sensing or GNSS on explicitly "spatial" problems! The application is open for students and faculty of KSUCTA, interested in learning or improving own knowledge and professional skills in GIS, RS and GNSS for using in different fields as geodesy, geography, architecture and urban planning, social sciences, resource management, ecology, agriculture, regional economics, transport, civil engineering, etc.
  There are many types of individual mobility for studying in geoinformation science at the European universities for bachelor students (2-3 years), master and PhD students, academic and management staff of the Central Asian universities. The project duration is four years and individual mobility grants will be available until July 2017.
  The ongoing application call will last to January 31, 2014 and each person, interested in improving their knowledge and skills on GIS, RS or GNSS and eligible on all application criteria, can apply in the online form at the official project website: http://em-gsmart.zgis.net. We should mention that one of the main requirements to applicants is good skills in one of the foreign languages: English, German, Spanish or Romanian. The site has all information about partner universities from Europe and Central Asia, their academic programs, duration and mobility requirements.
